BBC Radio Orkney 15th January 2021

"..... an update on Caithness artist Joanne Kaar's appeal from August, when she asked for anyone who remembered, or had worked for Camilla Eames, to get in touch.
Joanne was researching a knitwear shop in Kirkwall, where her dad bought a much loved jumper forty years ago. She was going to re-make it into a new piece of art, for an exhibition at Newfoundland in Canada. But she wanted to know more about Camilla Eames - who ran the shop - and she's had a phenomenal response...."

I've been invited to take part in an exhibition curated by Bruno Vinhas, the gallery director of  the Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador.  'Sensorius' is to open in August 2021 at their gallery in St.Johns, Newfoundland.  The exhibition is themed on accessible tactile work.  This Orkney Jumper is at the centre of my new work for the exhibition.
